L’Enclume
Our three Michelin-starred flagship restaurant in Cartmel. Creating and serving a seasonal tasting menu intertwined with nature, using locally sourced produce primarily grown at our nearby farm, Our Farm.
Unsworth's Yard Brewery
Unsworth's Yard Brewery can be found in a landscaped courtyard within the centre of Cartmel, next to Cartmel Cheeses. David Unsworth and the team brew a range of beers including our very own pale ale, known as Anvil. Find their beers at our restaurants, in local pubs and at their popular tap bar and drink shop.
Cartmel Village shop
In this small shop on the edge of the village square, the beloved Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding was born nearly 20 years ago. The team here pioneered this special recipe, alongside those for a range of comforting desserts and have now become a leading supplier across the whole country. The shop also includes deli items, fresh produce and store cupboard essentials.
Cavendish Arms
Visit this family-owned 500-year-old village inn for a quintessential country pub experience. With a riverside courtyard and cosy interiors with roaring fires, it’s a great location for any weather.
Royal Oak
The Royal Oak is a 17th Century pub in Cartmel square, serving local craft ales from their own brewery, Fell Brewery. They have rooms to stay and a spacious riverside garden.
Lakes Distillery
The Lakes Distillery can be found in a renovated old Victorian farmstead on the shore of Bassenthwaite Lake. Producing award-winning whiskey and gin using Lake District water, the state of the art distillery is definitely worth a visit.

Hare & Hounds Inn at Bowland Bridge
The Hare & Hounds Inn at Bowland Bridge, is a charming country pub in the heart of the Cartmel Fell. Enjoy cask ales and excellent food in this 17th-century tavern's beer garden with scenic valley views.
The Black Bull
The Black Bull is a historic former 17th century coaching inn which has been lovingly restored into an award-winning restaurant with rooms. In the restaurant chef patron Nina Matsunaga's dishes use only the very best seasonal produce available, following a true nose to tail ethos.
The Black Swan
Owned and run by Louise Dinnes, and her team for the past 16 years, The Black Swan is a beautiful Victorian Inn, nestled in the heart of Ravenstonedale, Cumbria. Enjoy the bar, award-winning food, characterful accommodation & true Northern hospitality.
Heft
Run by Kevin and Nicola Tickle, the 17th-century Inn offers five guest rooms, a bar with quality beers and wines, and seasonal small plates, using locally sourced produce.
Old Stamp House
The Old Stamp House occupies a site once the office of William Wordsworth, when he held the position of Distributor of Stamps for Westmorland. In the restaurant chef patron Ryan Blackburn creates dishes inspired by the fells, lakes, woods and coast of Cumbria, with Herdwick something of a speciality.
Forest Side
Located in a gothic mansion, The Forest Side is a hotel and Michelin-starred restaurant surrounded by beautiful scenery. Led by head chef Paul Leonard, who crafts dishes using the region's best seasonal produce.

Perched 1000 ft up in the only true Mountain Forest in England, The Cottage in the Wood is a unique Michelin-starred restaurant with rooms, owned by Sam Miller, with an established reputation for creative food and friendly service.
Allium at Askham Hall
Allium is a Michelin-starred restaurant within Askham Hall, a family-owned estate since 1724, where you can dine and stay. The kitchen is helmed by head chef Richard Swale and maitre de maison Nico Chieze.
